So, hello? Good morning (eat your overnight oats!), evening, day to you. Oh, I’d better say thank you. Thank you for visiting my blog, blog about food, about changing ourselves, changing the food we eat, about not eating junk, and about all other things. This all is a great new experience, and I am happy with it and with this stars. Cooking is just a great hobby which makes me and Daria happy everyday, and I become much happier when I see people eat my food, this encourages a lot. I really want o cook more and more. So today is the daym first ever post in the blog, first step to this new sphere. Lots of things to study, lots of things to know and understand. So what now- move forward!
First recipe was made by me in the first days of the 2016 Lent, this is purely a vegan recipe that could be transformed into general whole food recipe or vegeterian recipe. Actually, one of my first vegan recipes that I tried just because previusly I always thought that it could not be possible to prepare a good tasty dish without milk or eggs. So, I was totally mistaken.
I am now writing those words and everything is new for me, I never did anything like this before and even if I see the future path with my photo experience, the path of talking and sharing our life and recipes with people- that is difficult and totally new. But, the time will show, as it is possible to learn everything you like.
Sorry for offtopic, but I continue. First recipe- overnight oats #1. Why “number one”? Just because I will have lots of those overnight oats photographed. This is ideal breakfast full of vitamins and evergy for the big part of the upcoming day. The main plus of the recipe is the base of it, check this: oats, milk, night in the fridge. That is it- 5 min preparation, and ready breakfast at the morning. Ready for the recipe? Choose your way and go on!
- Milk (Almond, coconut)
- Oats (not quick cooking)
- Chia seeds
- Dried apricots
- Maple syrup
- Kiwi fruit
- Black currant
- Mango (or any other) sorbet
- Take a can and put oats in it, about ⅓ of a can. Pour in almond or coconut milk to cover oats. Add prunes, dried apricots, nuts and honey. Place in a fridge and leave for a night.
- At the morning place a can in a microware (you may eat it cold btw), next put all berries and fruit in the can with the mango sorbet on top (this will work great if the oats and the jar are a warm)
